Zaijan Jaranilla and Xyriel Manabat as a screen partners

Zaijian Jaranilla acknowledged the fact the he and fellow child star Xyriel Manabat are now considered as the youngest love team in the country. They also want instanty captivated the hearts of the Kapamilya viewers as a tandem and as their adventures and misadventures added a playful element to the top-rating teleserye.

“Hindi pa po kami artista magkaibigan na po kaming dalawa. Kaya mas close na po kami ngayon. Mahilig po kami maglaro ng taguan o kaya naglalaro lang kami ng Plants vs. Zombies,” said Zaijan.

Among the latest and popular love team in showbiz, Zaijan shared that he would like to emulate that of Enchong Dee and Erich Gonzales. “Basta gusto ko lang po sila and napapanood ko sila sa Magkaribal pa minsan. Okay lang po [sa akin kung maging love team kami ni Xyriel]. Masaya po yun. Opo, love ko naman siya.”

The 9-year-old child star was also clarified that they are just good friends. Zaijan also refused to reveal his celebrity crust at the moment. “Bawal ko po sabihin. Secret. Kaming tatlo lang nila Xyriel at Miguel (de Guzman) ang nakakaalam kung sino ang crush namin.”

The child star asked if there are anay other Kapamilya stars that he would like to work with in the future, Zaijan remarked that he already worked with a lot of big stars during his stint in May Bukas Pa. “Pero si kuya John Lloyd Cruz hindi ko pa nakakatrabaho. Gusto ko din po siyang makatrabaho,” said Zaijan.
